Meet the team

A fluent French and German speaker, over the last 30+ years, she has handled some of the most complex international entertainment claims, encompassing both property damage and shoot interruption in film, TV and advertising arenas and several significant UK and international studio and back-lot fires. During the pandemic, she coordinated the handling of large volumes of COVID-19 shut-down claims for all sectors of the entertainment industry, including promoters of rock and pop events and film and TV.

He handles the more complex film, television and advertising claims, including time element. His previous 10+ years’ experience as a commercial claims handler and Divisional Claims Manager for a major UK broking firm enables him to understand and expertly balance the different interests and needs of the various stakeholders in any claim situation.

With excellent organisational skills, she expertly handles high volumes of claims with a cool head. She is a skilled communicator able to convey complicated information in an easy-to-understand manner.

Nichola is currently studying for her CII exams.

Having initially studied law, Alex’s previous career encompasses film and TV underwriting and broking in the London market. After completing an intensive one-year film school course in LA, he also produced several TV projects in the US and back in the UK. He is uniquely placed to understand all aspects of the entertainment adjuster role. Alex also has a working knowledge of Spanish.

Where his background of working in arts management and ticketing helps him both to quantify losses accurately and to understand the challenges faced by the live entertainment industry, Steve handled very large volumes of cancellation and rescheduling claims in 2020-2022 due to the covid 19 pandemic.

She completed her DIP CII exams in March 2023 and is currently entering end point assessment for her Apprenticeship to gain a level 4 qualification in insurance.

At Spotlite, Hannah works with the other adjusters on the full spectrum of production losses. She has her own cases specialising in material damage and low to medium-value time element losses. She has quickly demonstrated a particular aptitude for production auditing and fast claims turnaround. Hannah has a working knowledge of French.

She was initially appointed as an administrator and adjusting assistant at Spotlite where she quickly demonstrated an ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high-volume claims environment and was promoted to Assistant Office Manager in 2021.

Janine supports the adjusting team and is responsible for SLA compliance and quality assurance.
